Episode Summary

The episode opens with the narrator joking about a viral “bed of nails” devotion reel and questioning whether the woman’s dramatic cries prove that a deity has possessed her. The humor turns into a skeptical rant about people making a spectacle of faith before the recap moves to the story.

Bani, Manav, and Krish

Bani pushes ahead with her plans to marry Manav, despite his insistence that he wants to finish his studies and does not want to marry her. After they argue in the car, she softens when she sees that he is hurt and apologizes for pressuring him. At university, Professor Arzoo pairs Bani and Manav for a project, apparently hoping to keep them together. Bani immediately invites him to work on it at her home.

Bani’s affection for Manav is clear. She shows him her lavish room and enormous collection of luxury cars, then takes him out for expensive ice cream. The narrator good-naturedly roasts the dessert: despite its impressive price and presentation, it tastes underwhelming. When Bani notices the belt marks on Manav’s back, she offers him money to help with his financial troubles, but he refuses. She asks him to say he loves her; he does, and she happily says it back, though he still seems emotionally torn.

Manav’s real love is Krish. Manav tells him he cannot bear to be separated from him, and the two discuss running away together. Pressure from Manav’s father makes matters worse. When Manav finally says he does not want to marry Bani, his parents react angrily, and his father beats him with a belt. Krish steps in and takes some of the blows too.

Although Manav continues to refuse Bani’s money, he and Krish need funds to escape. They decide to flee anyway and share an intimate moment, but Manav’s father and Bani catch them kissing, setting up a major confrontation.

Ishaanvi also gives Manav a stark choice: he can marry Bani and live with her family as a son-in-law, or accept help with a home and work. She tells him that if he truly loves Bani, he should be willing to adjust to life with her. Manav agrees to stay, but his feelings for Krish remain unresolved.

Arzoo, Ishaanvi, and Kavya

At the Kapoor mansion, Arzoo and Ishaanvi tease each other over a day off and a missed shower invitation. Arzoo repeatedly calls Ishaanvi and pretends the connection is bad.

Their flirtation nearly gets exposed when Kavya enters Ishaanvi’s room to ask about an assignment, mistakenly thinking she is alone. Kavya is clearly fascinated by Ishaanvi. Later, Arzoo helps Kavya with her coursework while keeping an eye on her.

Mysterious Woman

A mysterious woman is shown holding a photograph of a man and declaring that she has been obsessed with him since the day she saw him.
