Episode Summary

After the frightening incident the previous day, Ishani returns home shaken but relieved that Vedika is safe. They exchange a brief phone call, then spend a restless night thinking about what happened. The next day, Vedika remains anxious about being stared at, while Ishani quietly looks into the incident and gets Vedika’s broken phone repaired.

When Ishani visits Vedika at work, she notices how uneasy Vedika feels about accepting help. Megha joins them for lunch, and Ishani does her best to make Vedika comfortable. On their way back to the shelter, Vedika says she knows difficult situations may keep coming and that she will have to learn to face them herself. Ishani is struck by how much stronger Vedika is becoming.

That evening, the woman who wrongly accused Vedika of taking her bag comes to the shelter to apologize. Vedika forgives her, though she is left wondering how the woman found her.

The next morning, Ishani brings Vedika’s repaired phone. When Vedika turns away, embarrassed by her facial scar, Ishani gently turns her to face her and says she is beautiful—that the scar cannot take away her beauty. Vedika’s smile leaves Ishani visibly captivated.

The two share tea, and Ishani admits—then immediately gets flustered—that Vedika is her friend and she is there for her. Vedika asks if Ishani can take her home to see her father, and Ishani happily agrees. Vedika’s family welcomes her, especially her younger brother, Kartik, who clings to her and begs her not to leave again. Ishani also notices Vedika’s longing for the medical studies she once hoped to pursue.

Afterward, Ishani tells Megha she wants to help Vedika become a doctor. Megha cautions her not to push too hard: Vedika first needs time to accept herself and rebuild her confidence, one step at a time. Later, Vedika calls Ishani just to check that she got home safely, making Ishani’s heart soar. Ishani privately vows to find the person responsible for Vedika’s accident and make sure they are punished.
