Episode Summary

The episode opens with the narrator asking viewers to be patient with her mix of Hindi and English as the channel grows. The story then returns to Maya and Myra’s quiet morning aboard a ship.

Maya wakes to an unusually peaceful view of the sea and finds Myra in the small kitchen, holding the baby while attempting to make breakfast. A flirty glance at Myra’s open shirt leaves Maya embarrassed, and the two joke affectionately over the baby. Myra then tries to make Maya tea, but adds so much ginger that it is nearly undrinkable. Maya gamely takes a sip, and Myra’s horrified reaction when she tastes it makes them both laugh.

Their teasing continues when Myra gets a call from her grandfather. He checks that Maya and the baby are being looked after and tells Myra to stop working and enjoy their vacation. Maya playfully complains that Myra has done nothing but work, while secretly distracting her with kisses as she tries to keep the phone conversation going. Myra struggles to answer coherently, and Maya can barely contain her laughter after the call ends.

Later, they visit a temple. Their security guard jokes with the baby and remarks that Myra, usually known for her stern and intimidating manner, becomes a completely different person around Maya and the child. The temple’s long staircase prompts Myra to carry Maya all the way up—more than 1,500 steps. Along the way, Myra quietly shares her wish that they always stay together, touching Maya deeply. They pray together at the top, and Myra carries Maya back down as well.

Back at the hotel, Maya notices that Myra’s feet are swollen from the climb and scolds her for pushing herself. Myra replies that it was worth it for her. The moment turns tender, then romantic, as they share a kiss and the episode ends on an intimate note.
