Overview

Rodrigo locks himself in and trembles with panic after something terrible happens “outside.” A friend/family member demands answers, and Rodrigo finally confesses the truth: he killed Fatima.

After returning home drunk, Rodrigo’s father shoves him out into the street. In a burst of impulsive brutality, Rodrigo attacks a stray, mangy dog with a heavy rock and kills it.

2022–2023: The Fatima story (obsession → control → assault)

In the summer of 2022, at an academy, Rodrigo meets Fatima and becomes obsessed.

For months, their relationship is romantic and tender—paper flowers, gifts, long letters—until jealousy grows. Rodrigo begins monitoring her, exploding whenever customers or friends give her attention. He insults her to hurt her in ways that “count,” turning love into a toxic cycle of abuse, apologies, and control.

Eventually, the situation turns physical: Rodrigo assaults Fatima, shoving her into a brick wall. Then he begs for forgiveness—only for Fatima to end things for good.

After Fatima blocks him

Once Fatima blocks him everywhere, Rodrigo spirals for months: panic, depression, insomnia, self-punishment, and delusions/hope that they’ll reunite.

When her friends leave her near a dark corridor/exit, he grabs her, drags her into an alley, and forces her into the back of a vehicle.

He strangles her with his bare hands.

When she goes limp, his hatred vanishes instantly—replaced by crushing guilt. Rodrigo collapses, begging forgiveness from her corpse-like body.

Rodrigo panics that the police will find him through security cameras and that he’ll be locked up.
