Apology-Video Parody Tournament

Nux Taku and MoistCr1TiKaL (Charlie) put YouTubers’ apology-video clichés to the test in a parody tournament. The funniest and most creative entry would win $1,000.

Deji was supposed to join as a judge, but Nux had accidentally invited him on the day of his boxing match. Nux joked that Deji should have skipped the fight if he were a real friend.

The Entries

Each submission poked fun at a different part of apology-video culture:

• Keggy Films delivered a surprisingly heartfelt apology, with a cat and dog in frame, before veering into zombie jokes and a Shield Hero dig.
• Pegasus mocked online outrage by apologizing for eating a KitKat “wrong”—and insisting he would keep doing it.
• Midway Mat packed a sponsor read, a merch plug, and a fake apology for using racial slurs into one video.
• One creator turned an apology for shoving a kid at a skate park into a disturbing confession, while another blamed a giant “dump truck” for sitting on children.
• A furry-voiced contestant recited Logan Paul’s famous apology almost word for word, leaving the judges both cringe-inducing and oddly amused.

Nux and Charlie also riffed on familiar apology-video tactics, including claiming to be in a “dark place,” apologizing only for getting caught, and using sad music to manufacture emotion.

Winner

The judges’ favorite was None Like Joshua, who turned his apology into a rap full of flexes, body-pillow jokes, and an absurdly long list of social platforms. Nux and Charlie were impressed by the effort and energy and declared him the clear winner.

Nux called Joshua afterward to tell him he had won the $1,000 prize. Joshua was genuinely stunned and thought Nux might not actually follow through.
