Story Summary

Mr. Bear opens his cupboard hoping to find honey, but it’s empty—so he storms into the forest to get some. He finds a beehive, can’t resist the smell, and sticks his paw in… immediately getting swarmed and stung by the bee.

Angry, Mr. Bear starts posturing about being bigger and stronger, then tries to smash the bee and the hive with a stick. But the bee dodges him, and when Mr. Bear finally smashes the hive, it triggers the worst possible outcome: thousands of bees pour out and relentlessly chase and sting him all over—especially targeting his nose.
