Summary

Sitara and Aaris’s day begins sweetly. Aaris makes cupcakes, and Sitara happily eats six or seven before joking that she’ll lose her figure. Aaris insists she’d look cute either way. They share homemade black coffee, with Aaris secretly admiring how much Sitara enjoys it—and jokingly praising her own coffee-making skills.

The cozy mood turns flirtatious when they settle in to watch a series together. A romantic kissing scene comes on, and Sitara wants to keep watching, while Aaris teases her about whether it’s really just the story she likes. Aaris moves closer, and the two nearly kiss—until the maid interrupts to say her work is done. Embarrassed and hurt by Aaris’s teasing, Sitara leaves, telling her not to cross that line again.

They spend the evening apart, both troubled by what happened. Aaris looks at a pendant Sitara once saved from a fire and wonders why Sitara can’t remember their shared past. Meanwhile, Sitara feels restless and sends her mother a tearful voice note. When her mother can’t reach her, she calls Aaris, who rushes over. Unable to get in through the door, Aaris climbs over the wall and cuts her hand on the glass. She barely notices the injury because she’s worried about Sitara.

Sitara treats Aaris’s wound and scolds her for risking herself. Aaris asks Sitara not to say she might die, and the two make up. Sitara gives Aaris a spare key to her house, prompting a playful exchange about Aaris stealing her heart.

They rest together, but when Arjun calls Aaris, Sitara unexpectedly feels jealous. Aaris ends the call and says she doesn’t want Sitara talking to him. On the terrace, Sitara asks whether Aaris would really stop speaking to Arjun if she asked. Aaris says Arjun means nothing to her—Sitara means everything, as her friend and neighbor. Sitara accepts the answer with a smile, while Aaris privately thinks of her as more than a friend.

The night ends with more gentle flirting and Aaris carrying Sitara downstairs like a “personal lift.” The next morning, Sitara visits while Aaris is still asleep and tenderly brushes her hair aside. When Aaris wakes, Sitara startles and falls into her arms; their lips meet, and Aaris turns the accident into a kiss. Sitara initially tries to pull away, but soon joins in.
