Overview (2013 Press Conference: “SeoHyun Passionate Love”)

At a 2013 press conference for “SeoHyun Passionate Love” (with the role described as “Yurim”), the speaker—Han Yuurim—talks about bringing the character to life.

Yurim is portrayed as a bright Russian student studying “Alcohol and Medicine.” She has a strong sense of self and a caring heart. Her love for Wooyeol is described as innocent, yet also emotionally painful, described as “heartbreaking.”

Approach and Perspective

Han also frames the project as a “challenge” and a form of business venture. She expresses deep gratitude to:

  • the director
  • the cast
  • the large supporting team

She notes that although she has some singing experience, this is her first time “conveying consciousness” through acting/performance in a role like this—adding that she is working hard, especially with help from senior actors.

Motivation, Marketing, and Personal Commitment

When asked about motivations and promotion/marketing, Han mentions a personal mission she formed years earlier—referencing her third year of middle school and an image of the character—and how she wanted to fully commit to it.

  • a few mistakes
  • some misunderstandings

Her remarks are described as occasionally comedic and half-jumbled, including references to things being “wrong” and minor “loss” or noise around production—suggesting the atmosphere is lively but also slightly chaotic.
