Episode Recap

The episode opens with the storyteller, Shona, jokingly asking viewers why they aren’t commenting—and threatening to stop Anu and Eva’s story and focus on The Secret Husband instead. She then recaps Radhika’s blackmail attempt: Radhika sent Nivedita compromising photos and demanded that she stay out of Anu and Eva’s lives.

But Radhika’s feelings for Nivedita are real, and she quickly regrets what she’s done. She deletes the photos, follows Nivedita’s car, and makes a tearful apology, even falling at her feet and begging her to forgive her. Nivedita says she has forgiven Radhika, but she can’t trust her or be with her—and reveals she’s leaving for America. In a bitterly memorable dismissal, she tells Radhika to keep the photos and “make pickle” with them.

After Nivedita drives away, Radhika breaks down. Anu grows worried when Radhika won’t answer properly, and Eva eventually finds her sitting by the road. Radhika confesses that she has hurt both Eva and Nivedita, then—overwhelmed with guilt—tries to jump from a height. Eva catches her and comforts her, reminding her that making a mistake doesn’t mean she’s beyond forgiveness.

When Radhika says Nivedita is going to America, Eva points out that Radhika lives there too. The idea gives Radhika a sudden burst of hope, and she kisses Eva’s cheeks in gratitude. She then explains the whole situation, making Eva furious enough to threaten Nivedita—before Radhika reminds her that she loves Nivedita. Eva agrees to try to stop or persuade her, while teasing Radhika about her habit of getting herself into trouble. The episode ends on their affectionate, playful banter.
