Why I Will NEVER Make a Video on Onision

Summary

RanterInShades explains why he will not make further videos about Onision. Although he dislikes Onision, he sees little value in adding to the extensive coverage already produced by other YouTubers. He is not personally interested in the recurring drama and would rather focus his channel on subjects he cares about, especially music and metal elitism.

He also argues that coverage has little effect: Onision creates new controversies, discussion eventually fades, and the cycle begins again. In his view, attention helps keep Onision relevant, so ignoring him is the best way to reduce that attention. He urges creators who have said they are done covering Onision to follow through, and criticizes an “Exposing Onision” Facebook page for becoming repetitive and uninformative.
