Lü Bu can deal heavy damage with the right skills and critical hits, but the creator often struggled against pikemen. Strong pikemen builds, rings, and equipment can make a major difference.

Equipment and Buffs

Battle reports showed large differences in gear, might, and buffs. The creator noted that many fights were played without buffs, then used a 10% buff later in the event.

Crossing Fortresses

Expect to be attacked by multiple players when crossing into another area. The creator’s reports show that these encounters can still produce substantial merits.

Ring Choice

The Ring of Daisy remains the safer recommendation for free-to-play and low- or mid-spending players. The Ring of Radiant Thunder becomes more appealing at higher levels: at level 30, its damage is described as nearly matching Daisy’s, alongside extra commander damage and troop stats. The creator considers it a high-investment option, especially at levels 40–50.

Event Feedback

The creator likes Stormlands’ more limited, staged opportunities to fight compared with Desolate Desert, but says the stamina system needs further adjustment. They also feel rewards paid out as Dynasty Contributions are less immediately satisfying than rewards visible directly in the event.
