Summary / Recap

In a small lake town, Man Gita and Larina live with their fisherman father. Man Gita is kind, hardworking, and takes care of everything, while Larina is selfish and rude—spending her time admiring herself by the lake, teasing her sister, and even trapping butterflies in bottles.

Tragedy strikes when their father becomes gravely ill and dies. Man Gita grieves at first, then must step up to keep the family afloat. She decides to sell fish in the market, but Larina refuses—claiming she’s “destined to become a queen” and dismissing Man Gita’s struggle as beneath her.

Soon, Man Gita runs out of money and becomes sick. When an old lady appears and asks for food and water, Larina cruelly pushes her away. Man Gita, however, helps the old woman and gives her the only bread they have.

Later, the old woman is revealed to have been part of something bigger: when Man Gita falls ill, the old woman returns with mystic seeds meant to help her recover. Larina pretends to cooperate but hides the seeds under the bed and lets her sister suffer.

That’s when the twist happens: the old lady transforms into Prince Stephen, who has been searching for the “kindest woman on earth.” He uses his mystic powers, and the golden light heals Man Gita. Meanwhile, Larina’s cruelty is exposed when Prince Stephen explains he watched everything—especially how Larina withheld the seeds and even prayed for Man Gita’s worst.

Devastated, Man Gita confronts Larina, but Larina dismisses her with cold indifference and chooses to keep living in her dream of importance. Prince Stephen decides to take Man Gita away, and the video ends with a grand wedding—Man Gita and Prince Stephen live happily ever after.

Larina, meanwhile, doesn’t change at all, remaining mean and unkind. Man Gita still receives food and help “without her knowledge,” hinting that Prince Stephen will make sure she’s cared for, even if her sister’s behavior doesn’t improve.
