Overview

A new “hero” toy, Rory Redcape, arrives and immediately tries to host a tea party for himself, but everyone else seems “too busy.” A mysterious toy-like figure appears that resembles him—Lily Love Braids—and Rory excitedly reveals they’re connected: they’re siblings.

However, Rory soon learns Lily isn’t simply in trouble—she’s trapped behind a cutout inside a container, locked away by a monster “super villain.”

Plot Summary

Rory manages to free Lily, and their reunion starts out sweet. Lily acts like Rory has finally become the brother she wanted—until Rory’s “heroics” quickly morph into a constant prank/joke streak. He invites her to eat, they head out together, but he escalates the chaos by leading Lily into an ice-cream truck situation that ruins her dollhouse.

Lily snaps, calling Rory a mean jerk rather than a hero. Tension builds until they split away from each other.
